Getting Married in Glovertown

I always admire people who take what they love to do and just get really good at it. No one makes you go into business for yourself and certainly no one can make you create art. But when you put something of your own creation 'out there', it represents a part of who you are. Some business owners take pride in that and strive to consistently produce work at a really high level. We're lucky in our area to have several really skilled women working in the wedding industry. I really wanted to celebrate that and show off the work of some of these women with a photoshoot. With the help of a beautiful model, I was able to create some images that I believe show off some the the best of what our area has to offer in the wedding field. You can see the results in the images below!

Rocking out and working out in Glovertown

If you leave a city and move to a small town (as I did in 2015) you’re bound to lose some of the activity options you had in the bigger center. In Glovertown, however, a workout is not something sacrificed! Wanda Keats brings together ladies of all ages for Pound (as well as Zumba) classes multiple nights a week. She’s running her own business, having fun, and getting people moving. Basically, she’s awesome.

Back in January I was thrilled with these photos from one of my very first gigs, capturing a Pound Workout Class. I hope you enjoy.

Happy Adventure – Real Estate Shoot

I spent a couple of hours last Saturday photographing a property that is for sale in the delightful town of Happy Adventure. It was actually my first real estate photography gig! What do you think?

I had some bright light coming through the windows when I took my shots at 1:00 which made the exposures challenging. But I think it made for some dynamic images that would not have been as strong on an overcast day. It didn’t hurt that I had a perfectly tidy and wonderfully decorated home to work with! The property is listed by Rachel Whittick from Century 21. You can see the details and all the pictures online soon on her listings page. Thanks for looking!
